Thoren has spent the last 30 years studying the way in which women's skiing technique differs from their male counterparts. She firmly believes that "the weak link in a woman's skiing that keeps her from further progress is usually her equipment". She quickly points out that women's bodies are different than men's and therefore their equipment should adjust accordingly.
Select retailers throughout the country, along
with Dynastar skis, and Lange ski boots, will host Jeannie Thoren for a
fun, enlightening and free workshop on how female skiers can improve
their ski experience by understanding women's equipment. The event begins
by meeting Jeannie informally during a wine and cheese social, before
diving into ski gear. We invite all women, regardless of ability
level, to come and join us for the fun. Bring your questions and
skiing friends along, it's a great opportunity to meet, learn and laugh

culture.
